Partnership 2521 Simply Swimming and Finland

Datum: 20-12-2011

On December the 13th, the first foreign partnership agreement for 2521 Simply Swimming is agreed with ‘Sport Venue Oy’ from Finland. The former chairman of the Finnish National Swimming Association Jari Raikkonen is the initiator for this purpose. "The Dutch model provides a solution for Finland. We want our swimming clubs to be stronger. We see a large market in Finland to achieve this type of swimming pools. For this we have founded a new company called Sport Venue Oy. With 2521 Simply Swimming we start translating the concept to Finnish law and regulations. We know the Finnish market very well. In Finland we should add a sauna in any case.”

That’s no problem, the concept gives a lot of opportunities. It’s a modular concept. The multi-functionality of the building provides sufficient space, but also for expansion. For example a warm water pool, sports center or gym.

Sander ten Broek, General Manager 2521 Gewoon Zwemmen, is very pleased with the partnership agreement. "There were several negotiations, always with the intention to come together. With the team Jari Raikkonen has put together, we believe in a great success for our concept in Finland. Either the local governments should economize. The concept means a solution to ensure swimming is a social responsibility.”
